You believe that something else is possible for you.

You know you can do something about this.

You tried what seemed like it should work.

But somehow, it still didn’t change. And you’re still here.

Maybe because:

  • the desired change still matters;

  • being stuck is already costing you time, energy, attention, and opportunities.

Maybe the question is no longer what else to try, but What would actually work for you?

The next move does not need to be the answer. It only needs to change the question.

A good move creates enough change to give you something new to work with. And the better that move fits you, the more useful that change becomes.

What makes a move work for you?

Two things matter: the move should be yours, and it should not require you to force yourself into it.

  • Self-authored
Find a move that goes towards what you really want without sacrificing what also matters to you.
The clearer that becomes, the better your chances of getting more of it into your life.

  • Non-coercive
Find a move you can actually make without pushing important parts of yourself aside.
Less trying to make yourself act differently. More being able to just do it.

When both are true, you are more likely to be okay with how you handled the situation afterwards. Even if the experience itself was difficult.

You don’t need the perfect move. You need one good enough to take into life.

Then you learn from what happens next.
